WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING MINIMAL SHOES

When looking for a shoe made to protect the skin of the feet without compromising function and strength, here are the guidelines:


  1. Wide toe box - to allow for proper splay and function on the toes.

  2. Flexible midsole - to allow rotation in the midfoot for shock absorption and push off.

  3. Zero heel to toe drop - to allow for proper hip alignment and correct heel strike.

  4. Minimal sole cushion - to allow you to feel the floor for correct fascia and muscle activation.




Whenever possible just take your shoes off and enjoys the textures the ground has to offer. The benefits are endless.
